This metal chicken in Wisconsin comes with bowling ball eggs

A quirky feature of Marion, Wisconsin, is this colossal metal chicken standing proudly over a nest of bowling balls. Does it lay these “eggs” or is it simply part of a bizarre poultry league?

Crafted from what appears to be repurposed scrap metal and sheer Midwestern whimsy, this giant chicken is easily visible from the road.

As I approached, I swear I heard it clucking. Turns out it was just a particularly bold bird, possibly hatching a plan to poach bowling balls.
