You won’t miss the giant bull head as you pass through the Montrose, South Dakota section of the I-90.

The Porter Sculpture Park is the work of artist Wayne Porter, who you’ll meet if you visit. If you ask, he’ll even give you keys to a golf cart you can use to traverse the park. You can always walk, but it’s a bit of a trek to get around it all.

Interspersed between the 50+ sculptures are hand-written signs; sometimes containing limericks, philosophical tidbits, or comparing politicians to birds of prey, which is fair enough really.

The park is also home to the world’s largest invisible ball of twine. You’re not allowed to touch it, though.
